With her debut EP released November 29th, 2016, Lindsay Solonycze has a versatile, classically-trained voice, stunning and virtuosic, with a modern, soulful sensibility close to her heart.
Her first statement as a crossover classical artist invokes a cinematic feeling to her music, presence and look, featuring new twists on classic American standards & film favorites that bring forth the warmth and wholesomeness of the golden age of Hollywood. Recorded with the highest audio quality and videos, her breakout recordings are timeless.
Accompanied by a live chamber orchestra & quintessential arrangements, Lindsay’s EP opening performance was held at the iconic Herb Albert’s Jazz Vibrato Grill in the hills of Bel Aire, CA following performances at the famous Dolby Theatre singing Phantom of the Opera with tenor Shakar Bineshpajooh and members of the LA Philharmonic orchestra. She has performed for LA Opera’s 50th anniversary dinner honoring Placidó Domingo and most recently performed classic duets with the legendary Michael Bolton.
On December 23rd, 2017, Lindsay released her first original “Give and Receive” that she co-wrote with world renowned sculptor Lorenzo Quinn ( son of actor Anthony Quinn) and singer-songwriter, producer Jared Lee and Mati Gavriel.
“Give and Receive” was inspired by art and the philosophy of giving back, with 10% of all proceeds from the song donated to “All Hands and Hearts” Smart Response founded by philanthropist and supermodel Petra Nemcova leading into 2018.
Relocating to Los Angeles sparked Lindsay’s partnership with incredible songwriters and producers such as Marcel Camargo (Michael Bublé, Sergio Mendes, showtime’s Dexter), Yonatan Elkayam (John Cale, Money Mark, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey), Jared Lee (Jason Derulo, New Kids on the Block, Jordin Sparks, DJ Tiesto), Mati Gavriel (Warner Music), and Lorenzo Quinn (Venice Biennale 2017 “Support,”2019 “Building Bridges,” Halcyon Gallery London, Art Basel Miami) cultivating her momentous EP, Youtube video series, and most recent original song release.
Originally from Denver, Lindsay studied Vocal Performance and Opera at the University of Colorado, Boulder and La Musica Lirica in Novafeltria, Italy.
A Disney alum and current commercial actress, she has been invited to sing at numerous major sporting events (2016 Breeder’s Cup, 2015 World Ski Cup, 2014 Ironman) and solo performances featuring The Denver Choir, University of Colorado Opera, Ouachita Baptist University Opera, Keystone Colorado Blues and Jazz Music Festival, and the National Anthem for the city of West Hollywood, CA.
Lindsay continues to creatively explore the world as a singer-songwriter and actively works with charities that focus on sustainability as she is passionate about recycling and creating a better planet for future generations. She continues to perform for live venues, such as Herb Albert’s Jazz Vibrato Grill, and private events as a featured soloist.
By request she can provide live musicians for duo, trio and quartet acts, duet soloists, or singing to professional backing tracks depending on the event. She most recently signed with Imperativa Records and is working with producer-composer Yoav Goren on her debut LP and Christmas album release in 2020.
